She tore into us about what we couldn't bring, a vague laundry list of items. We arrived about 10 minutes before our scheduled time, but apparently the group was ready to go and we were being rushed as the lady came running over to our vehicle almost immediately. Sure the cave is "spectacular", as many of the reviews and pictures attest to, but I must have come across the same horrible attendants some other reviewers have. Otherwise you'll come out feeling disappointed, like you didn't quite get what you paid for and want to go back and do it again. This place is worth visiting, but be sure to somehow be part of a small group (our group was 10 people) or manage to elbow your way to the front of the line so you get to hear the commentary. Of course, especially on a hot summer day, it's much cooler and damp down in the cave so if you're someone who doesn't like to be cool, take a sweatshirt or something. It seemed odd that we weren't told of a second tour option when we asked about going on a tour. We also found at the end of the tour that there's a second tour, that goes through some of the bigger areas of the cave, but then you have to pay more to go on that tour, though you get a small discount because you've already gone on the first tour.

When we managed to get stuck near the back of the line, because most of our group was a large family, we'd arrive at an area unable to hear Gwen's commentary, which already was halfway through by the time we got there. Many parts of the cave are narrow so we usually were lined up single file. Our tour guide, Gwen, was entertaining, but the problem was that most of the time we couldn't hear her. The cave, itself, and the story behind it was very interesting. I would recommend this for families with children above 7 y.o. Social distancing was not strict but if you understand Covid 19’s mode of transmission you would want to protect yourself and others maintaining that good and safe distance. The tour guide was informative and friendly, it did not smell bad inside the cave, there was a few drops of H2O coming from the rock formations. is cheaper, I do not recommend this for children below 6 especially if they aren’t cautious, older adults with knee problems might find if difficult to climb some steep stairs, flash photograpy so far was ok, just be extra careful when climbing the stairs holding onto your cellphones or camera as it would take at least a day to recover it. Our guided tour was short, it took about 35 minutes to complete the guided tour, it was 73 degrees outside, inside the cave was 60 degrees, no need to bring a sweater this time of the year during our experience, in a Pandemic, masks were required in the shop and in the cave, online price was around $16.00 but paying with a cc is around $11-12 for adults, paying cash is even cheaper but with 4% service charge adult entrance costs $10.15 each, seniors and children below 11 y.o.
